One of the liveliest areas in London, Covent Garden is a former fruit and vegetable market converted into a showcase of British retail and pub life. Here, you will find high street shops in old converted houses and 16th and 17th Century pubs that still serve ale. The London Transport Museum and the Royal Opera House are both located here. In the summer, buskers and street entertainers show off their performing skills in the square.

Just a short walk to Oxford Street, one of London's main shopping streets. Within walking distance of the British Museum, home to the largest Ancient Egyptian collection in the world. When the sun goes down, head to the Covent garden area which offers you numerous restaurants, cinemas and jazz clubs.
