Travelling on down the Thames towards the City of London you will come to the Tower of London beside Tower Bridge. There are good family options for the price conscious traveller coming to London for a short stay. If you are looking for the economy option, some of more budget priced apartments, such as Grand Plaza in Bayswater are a good choice. With two double bedrooms and double sofa bed in the living room a family of 6 can be accommodated with ease. There is a cafeteria onsite. WiFi and cleaning are included. This economy property is well situated for The Princess Diana Playground in Kensington Gardens. And close to cosmopolitan Bayswater with its bars and restaurants. There is plenty of shopping nearby. This is a lively, vibrant bustling part of London.
Trafalgar Square
If you are visiting London for sightseeing in most places you can step out and find lots to do and see within a few minutes’ walk. We recommend Citadines Trafalgar Square. Only a minute’s walk from London’s major square in one direction and the River Thames in the other – perfect for strolling and taking in the London vibe. Very close to the Golden Jubilee Bridge over the River which leads to the South Bank. You will have easy access by foot to Piccadilly Circus, Soho, Chinatown and Regent Street. Pets are welcome at Citadines Trafalgar. This is a good option if you are coming to London with a dog as there are plenty of interesting walks around here. On London’s South Bank there are very many good restaurants and behind the Festival Hall there is a fabulous street food market. Come here for an eclectic selection of cuisines – with a guarantee that there is something to be found to please everyone.
Kensington High Street
Another popular property is Monarch House, situated along Kensington High Street. The residence offers very spacious 3 bedroom apartments and, for this reason, is particularly enjoyed by familes. These apartments and townhouses are within 5 minutes’ walk of Harrods and are located just the opposite side of the Bromptom Road. The designer paradise of Harvey Nichols is also close by.
